Job Introduction

The Colas Group worldwide own and operate a network of bitumen terminals and fleet of ships, essential to ensuring secure supply of this strategic raw material for our business. Continental Bitumen is a subsidiary of Colas which has recently invested in a new ‘state of the art’ bitumen terminal and blending facility at Avonmouth in the UK, which will become operational late in 2023, and currently has a vacancy for a part time Cleaning Operative working 20 hours per week for this facility.  

Main Responsibilities

To keep the terminal offices clean and tidy, take cake of the kitchen and toilet areas, follow Colas high standards and health and safety rules.

  • Clean and sanitize office spaces
  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Empty and clean bins
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms
  • Dust surfaces
  • Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels
  • Clean windows and glass surfaces

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be reliable and responsible, have good attention to detail, be flexible and hardworking.

Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.

Able to work independently.
